2023 AUTUMN/WINTER COLLECTION
A POISON TREE
The debut collection is inspired by A Poison Tree authored by poet William Blake. He portraits a kind of depressed anger that could lead to catastrophe. In the poem, this anger from within turns into a tree, which is watered by tears and nurtured by deceiving light. At the end, the tree fruits a poison apple, that kills the enemies.
The over depressed state of mind only brings one disaster after another. This collection materializes the poetic elements into prints, chains and snake patterns. The purple color tones reflect the progressive emotions where the lighter tone represents the purity, the darker pink embodies temptation and finally the purple speaks for mystery and lust.
